We are here to help you integrate into British life and the British education system.
Where We Began
In 2022, our Founder and Director, Shannon Dhillon (otherwise known as Shan) started tutoring Hong Konger families in Twickenham. They had moved to the UK under the British National (Overseas) scheme. She noticed that the community was struggling to adapt to British life and schooling.
Building Cultural Understanding
To learn more, Shan spent 7 months living and teaching in Hong Kong and Mainland China. She immersed herself in the East-Asian culture and education system, building connections with families and schools. During her research, she gained first-hand insight into the challenges that BN(O) families face when transitioning to the UK.
Growing Into a Team
What started as one tutor has grown into a dedicated team of Russell Group tutors who share the same mission: empowering Hong Konger students to feel confident, supported, and ready to thrive in the UK education system.
